ELITE Simulation Solutions today announced the successful sale, delivery, and commissioning of an ELITE TH-125 Helicopter Simulator to the Tulsa Police Department (TPD) Air Support Unit, marking a significant milestone in rotary-wing law-enforcement training.
The ELITE TH-125 is based on the Airbus Helicopters H125 and is the first helicopter simulator in its price range to achieve FAA certification as an Advanced Aircraft Training Device (AATD). This certification enables high-fidelity, cost-effective pilot training while meeting rigorous regulatory standards.
The acquisition followed an extensive due-diligence process by the Tulsa Police Department, spanning nearly a year from initial vendor engagement through the formal tender process. During this period, the Air Support Unit conducted a detailed evaluation to ensure the ELITE simulator would fully support its demanding operational and training requirements.

The ELITE TH-125 provides realistic flight dynamics, mission-relevant scenarios, and operational flexibility designed to support law-enforcement missions such as patrol, surveillance, and emergency response. By integrating this advanced simulation capability, the Tulsa Police Department Air Support Unit enhances pilot proficiency while reducing aircraft operating costs and exposure to operational risk.
